These Guys Should Be Famous!

Since I only have a few minutes to post, I've picked something worth bragging about! This past Wednesday we attended a casual and fun swim meet at our pool. On this occasion the parents were given an opportunity to participate in a relay race. So, Dave and three of our friends, Aki, Alfred, & Dan, who also have 7 year olds on the swim team, bravely agreed to swim. You know, it's been a while for these guys! Check out this video to see our team come from behind and win the relay in lane #6 (Dave's the last swimmer)! Listen to the fans roar as they watch Dave catch and pass the leaders! Ok, yes, that's mostly me yelling, but who can blame me when my husband is the hero? This race will go down in history at the pool, and if not, it'll be in mine!!! Our pool name is Pleasant Hill Aquatics (PHA). As a play on the PHA initials, we use the word PHAST (fast) on everything from shirts and hats, to really anything! Even for the swim meets our swimmers will write "Swim Phast!" or "Phast Penguins" on their backs. So the night of the parent relay, Dave used the PHA letters on his back in a way that expressed himself with some serious humor! Enjoy! I love you Dave!
